meet the players

In 2012, two local developers joined forces to pursue the development of Los Angeles' largest remaining waterfront site, the spectacular 30 acres occupied by the Ports O'Call Village. The Ratkovich Company was founded in 1977 with the mission to profitably produce developments that improve the quality of urban life. Since inception, TRC has developed or currently owns properties valued at over $2.25B, comprising over 18 million square feet of office, industrial, entertainment, retail and residential projects, including the successful renovation of eighteen nationally registered historic landmark buildings. Victory Oil was founded in Long Beach in 1934 as an oil, crane and trucking company. In 1984 the family started to convert its business from oil to real estate. By 2012, the transition was complete and Jerico Development was the successful owner of 1.2M square feet of commercial space including three historic buildings and 380 residential units developed or in planning.
